The colorimetric method slide is used for determining values of enzymes, general, and immunology. It is composed of dry chemical ingredients needed for the reaction and other functional materials. It quantifies enzymes and chemicals using colorimetric method. The potentiometric method slide is used for electrolytes determination. The electrolytes slide contains ion selective film electrodes for sodium, potassium, and chloride. These electrolytes are measured by potentiometric method.

The Vidas 3 is fully automated that utilizes Enzyme Linked Flourescent Assay technology. It's principle is based on the interaction of two elements which are the coated SPR receptacle that contains the antigens or antibodies, and the STRIP that is made up of series of wells containing the correct amount of reagent necessary for the test. Both immunological and enzymatic reactions occur within the analyzer. Each step is fully automated with optimized incubation and optimized washing cycles then final reading. The Yumizen H500 is a fully automated haematology analyzer utilizing the impedance principle. The measurement of impedance variation is applied to blood cells through a calibrated micro aperture. Two electrodes are placed on either side of the aperture. Electric current passes through the electrodes continuously. When a cell passes through the aperture, the electric resistance between the two electrodes increases proportionately to the cell volume. The impedance principle is the reference method for detecting and enumerating the total amount of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.
